I have 16 inch calves, and the size 9 fit my legs, even with jeans. In my experience, Bogs boots are warm and do not leak. My one quibble is the style of the toe. The bulbous round toes make me feel like I’m wearing clown shoes.

This is my second pair of these boots. I love ’em. In fact, as I write this, I realize they’re tied for my favorite pair of shoes. I live on a 5 acre rural property in the Northern Rockies, so I have use for them year round. They’re the warmest AND most comfortable snow boots I’ve ever had. But I frequently pull them on in Spring on wet, muddy days, and in late summer/early fall when I’m wading into tall, dried grass and weeds to cut them down haul them to the town composting facility. The boots are super sturdy and waterproof — unless you puncture one of the boots, as I did, when I snagged both the rubber foot and the Neoprene upper on barbed wire. That’s the reason that I had to buy a second pair. I think they would have lasted forever, otherwise. I would not have chosen this particular style with the camo as a replacement (my first pair were solid black), but they were 30% off, making them very reasonable. And they’re actually not at all bad looking in “person.” I mentioned that these Bogs boots are one of my two favorite pairs of footware. The other I wear every single day. They’re the Stewart Clogs. SO comfortable + easy on and off.

These boots are by far the best protective boots for any type of weather. They slip on and off easily, keep your feet warm in cold and completely dry in snowy and wet conditions. If they get muddy or dirty, simply hose them off. No better utilitarian boots anywhere.

Keep my feet warm
My favorite boots

I bought these for my 13 year old son. His feet are growing like crazy and I just bought a womens 12 in camo print. They’re slightly big but he wears them and loves them. He will have room to grow. He has always worn kids size bogs. Last winter I bought him mens size 8 Bogs and he didn’t like how hard they are. He says these ones have a softer feel like the kids styles.
Lindsay –
These boots were exactly what I wanted – easy to slip on, warm, waterproof, and perfect height. I’m an size 8.5/9 wide normally in womens shoes and the 8 mens fits me well with plenty of room for air ventilation or thick socks.

My first ever Bog purchase. Fit to size, warm, and comfortable. I am happy with my purchase.

These boots are so versatile! I can wear them in the barn or walking in the snow. They are warm and comfortable and they have enough tread to handle the ice and snow of our Michigan winters. Great value!
Natalie –
These boots are great for cold weather! Very warm.

Husband loves them.

I am sheep farmer and this time of year the pens are very wet and muddy. During the winter Montanans put up with freezing weather and icy conditions. My bog boots are warm all the time, they are high enough to keep me out of the mud and muck and have great traction on ice and mud. My boots are easy on, easy off and keep my pant legs clean inside the boots. I love my bogs, you should some!

Comfortable and protected in Antartica’s icy waters. Had problem with one sole which company quickly handled.Highly recommend as they stand behind guarantee . Would definitely choose!
Catherine –
It was great to find a pair of taller boots that fit around my um, shapely calves. These are warm, comfortable, and my only complaint is that I wish they had a bottom like the Whiteouts, with bigger clunkier treads. Very happy with the classics.
Trudy –
These boots are fantastic! I wore them for 3 weeks on an Antarctica voyage – waterproof, warm, comfortable & easy to clean. Hiking in them worked out well too. Wish I’d had these years ago for NY winters!
Katie –
These are the only high boots I have been able to fit my calves!!
Beverly –
My Bogs are my favorite boots. I found some similar boots at a sports shop, however, they did not compare. They were too narrow for my feet. My Bogs are the most comfortable boots-I’d love to wear them all the time. Green is my go to color and camo too!
Veronica –
Love the boots. Fit perfect and oh so warm!
Robert –
These are the most comfortable rubber boots that I’ve found for all-day wear. Limousines for the feet.
Valarie –
This is my third pair in 10 years. I literally wear them out, as in holes in the heal and ball of my foot areas! Dog walks, landscaping, shoveling snow, you name it I wear them.
Sandra –
This is by far the best comfortable boots I have ever owned
Mary –
Love these boots because you can easily tuck your pants into them! Perfect for walking the dogs or feeding the horses in wet weather!
Mary –
The usual good boots from Bogs, and very cute! Mine are green and very noticeable!.
T’Lee –
This is my 4th purchade of these boots as I have worn the others out. Use these all over my farm, all season long through tall grasses and mucky bogs! Durable, comfortable and warm in the winter and yet just right in the summer. I keep coming back to them.
Susan –
I purchased these boots for a trip to Greenland. They are comfortable and warm. I expect I’ll get much more use from them during our Vermont winters.
Eddie –
Sure wish they had another color besides black
