Review for Bogs’ classic high black insulated rubber boots. I was very disappointed mine only lasted roughly a year. The rubber part needs to be much higher as the soft upper part easily catches and rips on corners and such making the boot leak/seep water in if the muck is too deep and even worse gives you wet boots when you try to clean them off with a water sprayer as farmers usually/need to do. Also because it is fabric when you get a hole you don’t even have the option to repair the boot with a tire patch to limp by until you next go to town to buy a new pair. The worst part is that the seam/glue on the inside where the rubber ends on the heel on both boots came undone or something and gives you blisters so I can no longer wear them despite my best efforts to get every last mile out of them. While they were still new they were at least comfortable and kept my feet warm in the winter, but I expect them to last a lot longer. Get them to last longer and improve the quality a bit first, then you can work on improving your boot designs (especially in regard to your patterned ones which look trashy, but that’s my own personal view/taste).

I have 4 pair of ladies BOGs purchased 6-12 yrs ago. Love them, live in them when working outside in the yard, and even running errands in wet weather. Wear my old classic highhandles in the middle of winter and my toes have room to spread out and thus stay warm. Both the shorter boot and the classic high handle have been reconfigured in the ladies boots – the toe box is distinctly tapered torpedo style at the end and now they are very uncomfortable. I have sensitive feet and any pressure on the sides creating scrunching of the toes just causes pain. So, purchased a men’s version of the classic high and it works thank goodness, but it definitely looks like a farm boot. Not so good for looking stylish while out and about. A shame. Why not at least offer wide?

I bought these for my 13 year old son. His feet are growing like crazy and I just bought a womens 12 in camo print. They’re slightly big but he wears them and loves them. He will have room to grow. He has always worn kids size bogs. Last winter I bought him mens size 8 Bogs and he didn’t like how hard they are. He says these ones have a softer feel like the kids styles.

These boots were exactly what I wanted – easy to slip on, warm, waterproof, and perfect height. I’m an size 8.5/9 wide normally in womens shoes and the 8 mens fits me well with plenty of room for air ventilation or thick socks.

I am sheep farmer and this time of year the pens are very wet and muddy. During the winter Montanans put up with freezing weather and icy conditions. My bog boots are warm all the time, they are high enough to keep me out of the mud and muck and have great traction on ice and mud. My boots are easy on, easy off and keep my pant legs clean inside the boots. I love my bogs, you should some!

It was great to find a pair of taller boots that fit around my um, shapely calves. These are warm, comfortable, and my only complaint is that I wish they had a bottom like the Whiteouts, with bigger clunkier treads. Very happy with the classics.
