Perfect foul weather boots –
Very warm, easy to get on and off. Solid style makes wearing under or over jeans look good– if that is what you are worried about. I gave comfort 4 only because I have flat feet and too long without good support, I’ll have issues.

I bought these boots for my husband because he is the main dog walker in the family. He loves these boots! He wanted high boots that were easy to get into. The handle on the boots makes all the difference! They are warm and he wears them every day, including to work with his SUITS!! This time of year in Chicago is particularly messy with melting snow and muddy lawns, so it is nice t have boots than you know are made for those conditions . Everyone should own a pair. I have the garden ones!! Also, my husband usually wears extra wide but was fine with the width in these boots.

This is a Great Boot for anyone that plans on extreme conditions, Water, Dust, Dirt, Mud, cold… Bought this Boot for its durability & comfort. Needed an easy-on easy-off boot for Burning Man that was comfy & tough, but still had some style and this is the Boot. Bottom portion is like a rain boot and top portion is like Wet Suit material. The pull holes at the top of the boot make it east to get on & off… It was not too overly sized so you could walk with ease. I love it. Well worth the money and this was the fastest delivery on on-line ordering I have ever experienced! Ordered in the AM received it the next day at no extra charge! Love it! Classically Wonderful!
I live in Elk Rapids, Michigan, and we get a LOT of snow! My new Bog’s Classic Ultra High boots are simply wonderful! Easy to get into, easy to take off…the snow stays out, and provides good traction. I actually enjoy shoveling snow now because of these boots! You can’t go wrong with these wonderful boots. Do yourself a big favor and get you a pair for yourself or buy them as a present for a loved one. They are a true classic!

These shoes fit well and seem a little wider at the toe than my GEL-NIMBUSVs. They have felt great from the first time I put them on. very comfortable but a little heavy –
bought these for my husband to wear in the heavy rain that we have here. they are very good at keeping out the water. the insole is very comfortable and squishy, almost like a sneaker. the only problem is that they are heavy and because of the height of the shaft you kind of clomp around in them. if you don’t need all the height, get the medium tall ones because that extra height is just making them heavier. if you need the tall shaft, you are getting a heavier boot, but know that you are also getting an excellent waterproof one. enjoy!

So far I do like these boots. I just don’t believe that they or will keep you warm in below 0 degree weather unless you are using some serious socks. But I would recommend purchasing them, but I think maybe a half size smaller than regular size depending on if you like snug or loose fit.

These are fantastic boots! I own 2 other Bog styles and each is great. Bear in mind these are high boots so if you wish to wear pants/jeans OVER the boot, be sure the pants/jeans are wide enough at the calf to not give the appearance you have something “wrong” (due to the height and width of the pull on top). Otherwise, probably most will wear this with the pant tucked in and the top grips are fantastic for grabbing the boot and pulling it on without much effort. These are waterproof and warm. Perfect for a cold winter day especially with rain/sleet/snow. Very pleased.

After trying several good quality brands of winter snow boots, I tried the Bogs Classic Ultra High boots. The other brands were far to heavy, stiff and flat out uncomfortable and I returned them immediately. The Bogs are so much more light weight by comparison. They are flexible and thus very comfortable. I’ve yet to determine if they will prove warm enough in a bitter winter but I suspect that they will. Easy to put on, easy to take off. What a treat! I’m ready to play in the snow again.

I’m a woman but bought these men’s boots because of my extra-wide feet. There’s plenty of toe room and they work relatively well for high insteps, although I can feel the front of the boot pressing a bit on my instep. It’s not uncomfortable but feels more like a wet suit or flippers are around my ankles that pressure from the neoprene. The height of the shaft isn’t too high for a woman’s calves and the handles are useful for getting them on properly. I don’t know how warm they’ll be come winter, but I bought them for wet, mucky kind of weather and soil conditions. I also found them much more comfortable than Hunter boots, if you have a wide foot. The Bogs are a bit clunky in appearance, but not terribly so. The heel and tread are both comfortable and secure for walking.

These are amazing – warm & dry. They would be best for barn boots, or shoveling – not walking. They are very heavy – and after a few miles my knees actually hurt. No blisters though – they really are comfortable, and surprisingly supportive. I ordered the mens for extra calf circumference so I could tuck pants in!

Bogs are great for walking. They keep feet warm and dry! If you add a wool sock they can be used as a winter boot in snow as well. They are not at all clammy feeling like many rain boots. I would definitely recommend them. They make an outdoor experience in wet conditions a comfortable one.

I read over 100 reviews on Bogs boots before ordering these from Zappos, and they were consistently positive, so I thought I’d found a sure winner. However, I now plan to return this boot because it doesn’t fit well. My main problem is the shaft of the boot is huge. I usually wear a size 10.5, sometimes 11, so I ordered the 11. My main problem with these boots is there is a gigantic gap around the top of the shaft, that I can easily stick my entire hand into without stretching the neoprene. I was joking that I could stick a beer into the top of each boot, so maybe it’s a beer holder? Problem is that gap is going to let cold air, snow and rain right into the bottom of the boot. I don’t get it. What’s the point of having 4-way stretchy material on the shaft, if the shaft is twice the circumference of my leg? The only way it would need to stretch is if I stuck both legs into one boot! I don’t even need to tuck my pants in, the boots are so huge that they barely touch my pants as I put them on. I have medium to thin legs, but I’m not a stork. I mean, my legs are pretty normal, I think. I also found that even with my super thick wool socks, there was a lot of room in the foot of the boot. The only place on the entire boot that felt snug, was a narrow band of snugness over the top of my foot. I went to a local store and tried on the size 10, and it fit better in every regard, except my big toe was rubbing the front of boot. If the 11 had a snug shaft, I would keep them. As it is I must return them and keep browsing Zappos. As usual, Zappos delivery was lightning fast. I ordered mine on Friday night, and my wife ordered a pair on Saturday, and they both were on our door step Monday morning!

I received these Bogs in the middle of a blizzard and, when I went out to shovel the driveway, decided to wear them instead of my snow boots. I live in Alaska, so I’ve had many pairs of boots designed for every season. I was thoroughly impressed with these Bogs. They were quite warm, fit great and the tread had a solid grip on the fresh and packed snow. I tucked my jeans in to keep them dry and the neoprene upper kept snow from getting over the top and into the boot. Just looking at the tread, I’m not convinced these would do particularly well on solid ice, but I suspect they’ll be great on wet and muddy surfaces. That’s good news for me, since I bought them to go fishing. But I’m happily surprised to learn that they also make a fine winter boot.

So I work for a fish processor/cannery in Sitka, Alaska and the past couple years my job was working inside a -35 degree blast freezer. I push 1200 lb racks of salmon into elevators to our case up dept. which then get bagged up and loaded into vans for shipping. I had purchased a pair of insulated Extra Tuffs but the honey comb style sole of the boot cracked so badly I had to get them replaced. That’s when I bought my first pair of Bogs!!! My feet were always comfortable and warm and the traction on the boots kept me from slipping and falling inside the freezer. They lasted me through 2 Alaskan salmon seasons as well as winter Crab season and a spring herring season before I finally wore them out!!! All together I worked nearly 3500 hours in those boots before they cracked at the crease on the top of the foot. I’ll never buy another boot ever again. The Bogs are the best!! No joke!! Oh I’m also 6’3 and 358 lbs and they held up for that long!! Thanks Bogs you guys rock, yours Truly, Big Mike Bennett
