I was hoping to find a shoe I could wear to work and wear after work but the rubber on the butter sides are spitting apart. I’m looking for a shoe that can last.
GuestF –
Back tab fell apart after the first wearing. I don’t have time to do the whole return thing plus it says they have to be unworn. Not the first pair to fall apart (had soles pull away from ones bought at the warehouse sale) but just thought it was a fluke since I’ve had a pair of Camis that have lasted YEARS. Now switching to Muck Boot brand since they hold up quite a bit better.

These Bogs Sauvie Chelseas are excellent gardening shoes. I have a pair of the plain Bogs and sizing wise the Chelseas feel about a half size bigger than the plain ones. That works out great b/c they work perfectly with socks. I have a wide foot and these fit fine and are not too wide. If you have a very narrow foot these may be too roomy for you. The ankle liner is just enough to protect the ankle and foot from getting wet in slogging type of conditions. The liner is soft and comfortable and didn’t make my feet get warm or feel too tight. The shoe is substantial, like all Bogs, and I feel I’ll be able to use these for a very long time.

These came just in time for this rainy muddy spring and I absolutely LOVE them! They are kind of bouncy feeling, so comfortable and warm. So were the Bog snow boots I wore all winter, so I figured I couldn’t go wrong with these and I was right. They are high in the back and I was worried they would rub my ankle, but the material is bungy-like at the top, so it is sturdy, yet soft offering some give. Still, they feel best worn with socks. I’m an 8.5 M or 9M depending on the brand. In Bogs I’m a perfect 9M. I can’t recommend these highly enough for hiking and dog walking when it’s wet out or dry.

The size estimator on Zappos said I should order a 9, the one on Amazon said order a 10, so I ordered both.
I loved the feel of these shoes but the 9 was too short. The 10 would have been OK for length but it was way too wide. Returning both.

These feel comfortable with or without socks. The look is nice, but I didn’t buy them for that. I needed something for the yard and to walk my dog with when it rains. The only odd thing I noticed is they have a pull tab on the inside of the heel instead of the outside. I guess they did that to make it look more sleek. I am worried it might bother my ankle if I don’t wear socks. We’ll see, but with socks I don’t even notice it there. Someone had asked if you can remove the insoles and an employee didn’t do their homework and replied no, but infact you can. I checked which is nice to know I can add my own if I like.

The Sauvie boots have ALMOST a healthy foot shape. But, they still push the big toe inward, which isn’t healthy and would harm feet with daily use. But, the shape is much better than other rain boots I have tried. I am a small size 7 ½ and the size 7 is slightly too tight, while the size 8 is too big to walk in. If not for the fact that the boots slant inward in the big toe area, I would have been easily able to wear the 7. The tread is excellent on these shoes. They are rather low, so they won’t work well in rain in Los Angeles, where puddles quickly become 6+” deep due to irregular pavement. I would have kept them had they fit, and worn them with waterproof socks.
I recommend Sauvie shaped Boggs to people who take whole sizes, because I don’t know of any better rainboots. I recommend that people who wear a half size skip Boggs as there is no way to get a workable fit.
Boggs… I hope you’re reading this. Please have a look at correcttoes.com to discover what a healthy foot shape is. I think the Sauvie may have been an attempt at a healthy foot shape. And, please, make a 7 1/2 because I would buy it!

I have a very wide foot and these fit me perfectly. I have a similar style of Bogs but they are a pain to put on. These are a bit lower and I can put them on fairly easily. Great support…I use them for tracking (search & rescue) with my dog and can wear them for hours. Tons of support and the liner prevents that sweaty feeling you usually feel with rubber boots.

I was happily surprised by this bootie. I work outside as a landscape designer and need a waterproof shoe that can be easily removed when I enter a client’s house. This boot fits that bill, and is attractive. I like the green color, and I added a pair of orthotics for support. Nice enough to wear to the store but rugged enough for a muddy job site.

Bogs!! Please make 1/2 sizes! I tried an 8 and a size 9. The 8 was barely too tight and the 9 was too big. So disappointed. I was looking for good waterproof shoes to walk around Europe. If I wasn’t planning on a lot of walking, I would have got thick socks and kept the size 9 to wear for errands and around the yard. They are nice because the top is soft, so there is no place to rub blisters.

I loved these shoes for working around my 7 acres in the rainy Pacific Northwest, but was disappointed after 6 months the sole started to detach from the shoe (see picture)

I guess that my foot MIGHT not be a “Bog’s” foot?! I already tried the Sauvie Clog & thought it worked – EXCEPT the Clog runs
large. The Short Sauvie Boot AND this Suavie Chelsea are just a little too narrow in toes (both width & height). If I was younger: I might wear a boot that was a tiny but too narrow. BUT: now IF a shoe/boot rubs all day on my pinky toe = it’s a problem for the next few days. Theses seem great except for a slightly narrower foot (in the toe area).

I wear between a size 7.5-8. I ordered these in a size 8. They can be worn with socks and are easy on/easy off. A nice shoe for the rain if you don’t need boots

I bought these shoes specifically for gardening so style is not an issue. The size 9 is perfect for me, nice and wide but not sloppy. Good fit either with or without socks. I like the fact that you can kick them off easily, leaving muddy shoes at the door. They also slip on easily. They will be good for the garden in all but the hottest weather.

I love this little boot. The sizing was true for me, not too wide and not too narrow. Getting in and out of them takes a bit of practice but works out fine.

These are super durable and very comfortable. They keep my feet warm and dry. I needed a pair of shoes to slip on and do a few chores outside. The only problem I have is that they are snug (which feels good). However, it takes at least one hand to tug them on, and most of the times I have have both hands full. They do feel great to wear all day for walks and running errands in funky weather, and I decided to keep them for that reason. Glad I did.
GuestF –
My main reason for purchasing these shoes was I needed a shoe that would keep my feet warm and dry on cooler, wet days. I also wanted a shoe that was vegan friendly and stylish. These shoes/boots nailed it and I am wearing them almost everyday now because of their comfort. I even wore them on a 5 mile hike on a 34 degree day and was pleasantly surprised with their grip, warmth and comfort. Just a concern and I think worth mentioning to someone considering buying this product or something similar that your feet will sweat because the outer material is rubber and it does not breathe like a leather shoe or boot would. This can make for cold feet at a resting state after being active. But if you are adamant about wearing shoes that are cruelty free then this product is by far the best solution I have discovered to meet all my wants in a warmer active shoe. Thank you Bogs, expellant job.

I have wide feet, and these booties fit perfectly – even with bunions and a problem toe. Super comfortable and keep your feet warm and dry.

I am very happy with the Sauvie Chelsea’s that I bought a few weeks ago. I live in the Pacific Northwest and walk two crazy dogs off leash in the woods daily. These shoes/boots are easy to slip on and off, keep my feet completely dry, and with a nice thick pair of socks my feet are toasty and happy. I need a roomy toe box, but have a narrow heel and the fit is good, sealing nicely at the ankle. I got a size 7 as I’m normally a 6.5-7. The tread is steady and grippy, and I look forward to wearing them for a long time.

So happy! I need comfortable, waterproof and chemical proof boots at work. I am on my feet 12 hrs/day and these are very comfortable. I have high arches and they feel supported. I was worried they’d be too hot but my feet don’t sweat in them anymore than a regular tennis shoe. Easy to slip on and off. Highly recommend!

Love them! Super comfortable can stand all day and not feel like I’ve been hit by a truck.
Bought them to work on my flower farm because our dew is so heavy my feet would be soaked but love them so much I’ve started wearing them everyday. Very true to size I wear an 8M and the 8 fits great width and length.

To be honest, I was first looking for Muck shoes, but couldn’t find the particular style in my size – ever. A friend told me about Boggs so I thought I would give them a try. I absolutely love them. Fit and comfort are great. I primarily wear them for barn work, so they are frequently wet and on dirty areas, but I’ve worn them to walk my dog and they were as comfortable as my sneakers. I am sold on Boggs and will buy different styles in the future.

Theae garden shoes are perfect for working all day in wet dirty conditions. They come up high enough to keep dirt and water from getting inside the shoe. Exactly what I was looking for.

Do not buy. Held up well for a few months then began to crack over top surface which led to leakage. These were worn mostly for walking dogs in wet grass and were not abused.

This was a birthday present because I have a pair for by myself. These boots are high quality and not heavy. Perfect for everyday use in Rural Alaska .
