I was excited about these because I’ve been ordering Bogs for 5 years every winter. I wear a size 9 in Bogs Whiteout Flex Boot. I can wear those with warm thick socks. I find them comfortable enough to wear every day in winter. I was looking for a similar shoe but a little more sophisticated look.
The shoe looked good out of the box but the suade on the front was stiff and I could tell would crease easily with wear. The hole for your foot is very narrow and I don’t even have a wide foot. The shoe felt stiff and narrow. The heel was tight and the ankle shaft felt too wide.
I was under the impression that it was elastic due to the fabric part of the shoe around the ankle -but it is not. The zipper was not high quality, the insert flap to protect your skin from the zipper was adequate but folded over in a manner that was annoying to fit smoothly while trying to slip on the shoe. My ankles felt unstable in this shoe.
Also the gray color on the back of the black pair of the shoe was much lighter than I thought from the photos on Zappos.
I was looking for a comfortable waterproof slip resistant every day shoe. I’m returning them.

Wanted to love them, but they were too constricting. My feet felt like they were being squeezed. I ordered my regular Bogs size (I have 2 other similarly styled pairs). But this particular leather is tight. Returned them. Perhaps consider sizing up…

I really love these boots! I wish they had a bit more cushion but that is because I have feet problems. These are stinking cute, and the material is like a glove. I can wear these out and about and never have wet feet!!! Received many compliments on them.

These are comfortable little boots. They fit well, I ordered my usual size of 6 1/2. They may be a bit snug if you have wide feet. I took off a star (and returned them)because the ankle was a little too stiff for my taste and I’m afraid it would have rubbed after a lot of walking.

This is a great bout! I wear a size 11 so it’s hard to get stylish boots that don’t look enormous. These are perfect. Stylish, warm and comfortable. No clown shoes here. Plenty of room for thick socks or tights. Look great with jeans.

First, cheers to the Zappos sizing algorithm: This is one shoe it got precisely right for me. I have a pair of rubber slip-on Bogs in sz 8 and was skeptical that I’d wear a Bogs 9, but these fit perfectly — the sizing is very different from the all-rubber Bogs.
At first I took these out of the box & thought, “Oh no, these are really narrow” — except just like the Tardis, they’re bigger on the inside! Really it’s just that, for once, someone had the good sense to have the leather upper wrap around the foot just the tiniest bit before uniting with the sole. And since the leather is willing to stretch quite a bit, these moulded themselves around my feet (narrow heels; average width; tailor’s bunions) quickly & easily.
Minus one star on style because a) the nubuck-style leather is kind of a PITA to keep clean, & b) these are the only boots I have that zip on the outside of the foot, not the inside of the foot… which occasionally throws me if I haven’t had my coffee. But overall, these are great, & I love the olive color.

The tan color was a bit more vibrant than in the advertised photo and the shoe runs a bit narrow for a wider foot. I’m still giving it 5 stars because I love these and the quality is amazing.
