They seem to run a half size or more larger than I normally wear. I’m a size 14 and I was tempted to send them back for a size 13 to try but just decided to keep them. I will try thicker socks next winter and see if that helps.

We own a foundation & structural renovation company in upstate New York and have been looking for some time for a durable, composite toe, insulated work boot that we can recommend /supply for our employees to protect them from the elements. We have tried over 45 different pairs by various manufactures over the last year or so and this is by far the absolute best boot we’ve ever come across. The boot tends to run about 1/2 size larger on average, but our employees love them. So now we stock this exact boot in every size so that as soon as a new recruit comes aboard they’re outfitted with the best footwear available. It would be nice to see Bogs offer 1/2 sizes in order to tailor the fit a bit better, but either way it won’t stop us from purchasing them by the dozen.

Slides on easy, great heel tabs for easy removal. Keep a my feet warm on the cold days but doesnt overheat when its warmer

I was looking for a waterproof work boot that would be good for working all day outdoors and climbing over snowbanks in 25 degree and warmer weather AND one that fit my 10 EE feet. These boots are the most comfortable pair I own; they feel like I’m wearing a running shoe. I plan to order a second pair for hunting because I do a lot of walking in the hunting woods.
All you need to do is remove one of the footbed cushions to get the wide fit. I love them!

As compared to Muck Chore steel toe. The Bogs have a superior tread. Better traction on ice snow and mud as compared to the Muck Chore. Bog has larger toe box and easier to remove, heel slips off easier as compared to the Chore boot. I have flat feet and the Bog has better arch support and feels more like a supportive boot ( ex. Keen Durant hiking boot) as compared to Muck Chore. Only have the boots for a month, 20 hours of use, so no long term review. The reason I tried the Bogs, my Muck Chore boots rubber split and cracked with minimal use, the poor traction sole and flat uncomfortable arch support.
